For the first picture I tried to capture a butterfly on a light purple flower to for a complementary color scheme.
For my second shot I attempted to capture an Analogous Color scheme by taking a picture of various shades of green with a blue backdrop.
I enjoyed the first picture much more than the second photo, and I feel it was a better shot. I have been trying to work on my focus a lot more, and have been having trouble doing so. I feel like the butterfly photo was the first time I have actually gotten a close up photo that was in focus, so I was pretty excited when I viewed in on my camera!
I took multiple pictures of the butterfly, messing around with the background as well. I figured I would share those as well, simply because I liked them:
It's HARD working with critters. I love to capture them when I see them as long as they don't touch me. :) But this one is beautiful and you did a great job, I like the two you chose the most also. Good luck working on the focus,,,,,I long for a day when mine isn't in auto mode!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the last butterfly picture! That said, I also really like your analogous picture, because it has a sort of ombre effect from blue to green that's really, REALLY cool.
ReplyDeleteI really like your last butterfly photo. The subject is clear and in focus while the building is blurred in the background making it stand out even more. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThe last picture is wonderful. I like how the light shows through the butterfly's wings. Very nice angle.
ReplyDeleteUgh! Every time I try to shoot a butterfly, it always flies away! :) The last shot is so beautiful! I love the colors of the butterfly and the flower and the blurred background of the barn, the grass, and the sky really adds to the picture.
ReplyDeleteWow great jobs on these. You did a great job showing the color schemes.
